- Hello! My name is Gorakh Bangar, and this is my story.
Despite facing many failures in business, I never gave up and eventually established my own IT company in Pune. I was born into a poor family in a village near Lonavala in the Mawal taluka of Pune. I completed my B.Com degree. When I was just eight months old, my father passed away, and my mother took care of me. During my eighth grade, I worked at a hotel.
After completing my tenth grade, I started my own mobile shop in 2013, which received a good response. Later, I ventured into the clothing business, but it did not succeed. However, I did not lose hope. Inspired by the thoughts of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, I developed a passion for reading and started giving lectures on him. During these lectures, I realized that Marathi youth should enter entrepreneurship and gain employment.
Following this realization, I started an IT company named Maharashtra Informatics OPC Pvt Ltd. Through this company, I developed various projects to help young people venture into business. One of these projects is the Maharashtra E-Seva Kendra™, a franchise model that has helped more than 550 young people in Maharashtra become entrepreneurs and continues to do so.
